Some houses are made for getting everyone back together. Our gîte, rated Gîtes de France 3 épis, is one of them: a house with character, fully renovated with good materials, away from the road and from any bustle. Quiet here is not a promise, it is a plain fact: you hear the wind, the birds… and your own laughter.

Over three floors, 4 spacious bedrooms. A kitchen genuinely built for a full table — a very large fridge included —, two shower rooms, and the beds made up before you arrive (towels and end-of-stay cleaning optional): you have one thing to do — enjoy each other. And if there are more of you, tell us : the estate has other places to sleep.

What you will not find anywhere else

Backing onto the woods and facing the meadows, the gîte is far more than a place to sleep — it is a house you feel at home in within the hour. You put the bags down, open the windows, and time has already slowed.

From the bedrooms the show never stops: below, the donkeys, the goats and the sheep go about their enclosures and, far off on a clear day, the Alps cut into the sky. In the morning the sun rises on this side: you linger at the window, still in your pyjamas, just to watch it climb over the valley while life wakes up below.

Roomy and warm, it was designed for families and for tribes: space to live together, corners to slip away to, a terrace where meals stretch out in front of the landscape. In the morning coffee is taken outside, in the soft light; in the evening you go back over the day around the table while the sky catches fire.

The gîte is only the means: the experience is the estate.

Frequently asked questions

How many people does the gîte sleep?

Ten comfortably, twelve using the extra beds. Four bedrooms over three floors, 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets.

Does the gîte accept dogs?

No. Our donkeys, goats and sheep roam free and children go into the enclosures: the two cannot mix. Babies and children, on the other hand, are very welcome.

Is there wifi at the gîte?

Yes, free of charge. It is the only one of the two places to have it.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Arrival between 4pm and 7pm, departure before 10am. The gîte is non-smoking.

Is the Nordic bath private?

Entirely: the bath sits on the estate, a few steps away, and is booked in 1-hour slots. One slot is free with every stay; further slots start at €30 an hour.

Can we come in winter?

Yes, the gîte is open all year round, insulated with wood fibre and heated by a wood-burning stove. The pool, though, opens from mid-June to the end of August.

Is the pool private?

No, it is shared with the safari tent — two places to stay across 13 hectares. Unheated, open from mid-June to the end of August.

Is bed linen provided?

Yes, the beds are made up before you arrive. Towels are an option, at €8 per person.

Is there anything to keep children busy?

A games room in the attic, and above all the animals, which the children feed themselves. Activities are on offer, from a treasure hunt to a night walk.

How much is a night?

From 319 €, with a lower rate from 3 nights. The exact price appears as soon as you choose your dates.
