Lyon and Valence are about an hour away, the Rhône valley thirty minutes, Annonay 15 km. The name of the village is not enough : set your sat-nav to 45.1615892, 4.6299588. The last stretch is a mountain road, easier in daylight : that is why arrivals are between 4pm and 7pm.
By train
The nearest station is Saint-Vallier-sur-Rhône, about thirty minutes away by road. We can come and collect you on request, for €50 — let us know when you book. Without a car here, getting out and about will be limited.
Parking, and then
Free parking on site, right next to the gîte. For L’Estiva, allow a 300-metre walk afterwards : bring a soft bag rather than a wheeled suitcase.
Shopping
Satillieu and its shops are 7 minutes away. Stock up on your way in : once you have settled, you will not want to get back in the car.
