What if your greatest luxury were… quiet?
Get ready for an unusual stay, where time slows down. Tucked away from everything — the nearest dwelling is 150 metres off — L’Estiva stands 2.5 m above the ground, right in the middle of the goat and sheep enclosure. Your only neighbours graze peacefully at the foot of the deck, watched by the donkeys and the wildlife. No road, nothing overlooking you, nobody around: just the wind in the trees, the birdsong, the odd bleat of welcome and, once night falls, the owls.

What you will not find anywhere else
Under the canvas, 24 m² with nothing missing: two proper bedrooms, deep beds and a kitchenette — the shower room and the toilet open straight onto the deck. All of it recent and well kept. And outside, room to breathe: a deck of about 50 m², to live indoors-outdoors from morning to night. Glamping at its gentlest: the comfort of a hotel room, the feel of camping. Arrive, put the bags down, nature takes care of the rest. And since it is all fenced and safe, children explore freely.
When night falls, carry the spell on into the estate’s Nordic bath, yours alone — one hour free with every stay: the water steams, the silence is total, the night and the stars belong to you.

How many people does the safari tent sleep?
Five, in 2 bedrooms — one double bed and 3 single beds — with a private shower room and toilet.
Is there wifi?
No, and that is deliberate. You come here to switch off: no wifi, no light pollution. Wifi is still available at the gîte.
Is sleeping under canvas comfortable?
It is the comfort of a hotel room with the feel of camping: real beds, a private shower room, hot water and electricity, on a wooden deck.
Can we cook?
There is a kitchenette with a hob, microwave and fridge. Most of the cooking happens outside: the plancha griddle is there for every stay.
Are there neighbours?
Yes, but 150 metres away and out of sight — the aerial photographs show it well. You will genuinely feel alone in the world. The tent stands inside the goat and sheep enclosure.
How much is the deposit?
€400, not cashed and returned after your stay.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Arrival between 4pm and 7pm, departure before 10am. Free parking, then a 300-metre walk: the lodge is not wheelchair accessible.
Is the Nordic bath included?
Yes, one hour per stay is free. The bath sits on the estate, a few steps from the tent, yours alone for your slot; further slots start at €30 an hour.
Are dogs allowed?
No: the tent stands in the middle of an enclosure where goats and sheep live. Children, on the other hand, are very welcome.
Is the tent open in winter?
No, it is let from 1 April to 14 October. Out of season the Ardèche nights are too cold under canvas — La Granja, though, is open all year round.
How much is a night?
From 179 €, with a lower rate the longer you stay. The exact price appears as soon as you choose your dates.
